Welcome to the Limassol Carnival Interactive Folklore Museum, a vision that became a reality thanks to the contribution of many people. The museum is a tribute to the rich history of carnival in our city.
The city of Limassol, long inextricably linked to carnival, welcomes a unique new space dedicated to the history and magic of Cyprus’s largest folk festival. Created at the initiative of the Limassol Municipality, the Limassol Carnival Museum invites visitors to explore the rich tradition of carnival up close, offering an engaging experience that combines entertainment and education, while honoring its cultural heritage.
The Museum is housed in the Municipal Cultural Center “Panos Solomonidis” and spans three specially designed floors, forming an interactive space that seamlessly combines education and entertainment. The opening of the Museum marks a milestone in the history of the celebration, and to allow as many visitors as possible to experience it, the Museum operates with extended opening hours during the carnival period.
